I AM IN DESPAIR!!!
I’ve watched 4 episodes of Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and you know what? IT WAS NOT FUNNY AT ALL :( If episode 5 + 6 doesn’t make me laugh I’m dropping this… I just can’t stand watching an Anime which has both NO POINT and is RANDOM! And I’m not talking about stuff like the no-point-randomness of Hayate no Gotoku - no, this Anime series is like DEDICATED to having no point and randomness. Please tell me there’s SOMETHING that will make me want to continue watching it… since I’m starting to feel a great boredom from it and are watching Hellsing to compensate it. Works much better like that…
One thing I DID like about Zoku was that it showed snap shots (and ecchi shots) of Komori (The Hikikomori). It’s cute for one thing but it showed a weirder… shota-liking side of her. I never knew she was like that. Maybe it’s because Mr. Zetsubou’s nephew looks like a smaller version of himself. What I don’t like is if my mind starts having ecchi thoughts related to the Shota doing things with the Hikikimori. You know what? Forget I ever wrote that line. I do wish and hope that Komori will start to stalk Mr. Zetsubou like that stalker. She’s cute and does cute, maternal activities.
Well… time to crawl back down to my cave of despair.
If you didn’t like the first four episodes, you can just drop it right now, because it only gets worse from this point on. It’s a shame, the series had definite potential, but it just got boring in its second season. If you want a good comedy to watch, then how about Gintama or Sugoiyo Masaru-san?
What’s going to happen in the others? ~_o
And holy crud, Gintama has an unknown amount of episodes >.>
I might just try out School Rumble instead…
Don’t let the huge amount of episodes of Gintama scare you off. The subs of the series are around episode 86 right now, and the humor only keeps getting better and better. ;)
I wholeheartedly disagree with psgels. Zetsubou Sensei is an intelligent series based on social satire. Gintama’s humuor is more based on physical jokes and parody. It has its moments of hilarity but overall it didn’t impress me much (I watched about 30 episodes).
Zetsubou Sensei bored the hell outta me…
I was watching episode 5. Went half way… and then stopped. Will watch the second half later in life :[
