Seriously, I never thought I would have to actually make a post dedicated to this, but school is harsh for me and so is time. So far the bloggers I’ve recruited are mainly real life friends and well, they also have a lot of trouble with school and such. My time is currently growing smaller and smaller so I can’t do everything I planned to do […]

I like torn books
Pretty much Japan has started to censor a bunch of stuff - books to be exact. Kasahara was in a book store and noticed these “army” guys confiscating books from the store. These army guys are called “Media Ryoukahou” [Cited from MyAnimeList]. She tried to hide her book, but was caught and pretty much got into an argument with one of the Ryoukahou guys. Fortunately, a random guy appeared and saved her from the Ryoukahou guy’s brute act and gave her back the book she was holding. It seems that the random guy was from Kantou’s Library Corps. She later joined that Corps because she wanted to be with that random guy.
Kasahara was doing some army training and was pretty much overdoing stuff and fell to the floor, tired. Doujou went up to her and told her to do some push-ups for that act. Afterwards when she got lunch, she complained about Doujou to her friend Shibasaki. Doujou sat down and said he heard everything plus that he’s a human with emotions. Him being pissed off seemed to have either scared to crap out of Kasahara OR feel ashamed. Shibisaki “joking” asked Doujou that he’s cool with her, which got Kasahara angry at her. When Kasahara was leaving, she dropped a note. Doujou picked it up and asked her about it. It seems that it was a note to her parents. She couldn’t give it to her parents because her parents would be shocked to know what she was doing.
Kasahara was doing some karate with her classmates and won. Doujou said he wanted to join in. He basically defeated her and walked away. She got pissed off and jumped at his back (literally)… which failed as he restrained her. Later on the day, Kasahara and Shibasaki were talking about what happened. Basically, Kasahara didn’t like Shibasaki’s admiration of Doujou. Soon, Shibasaki went to the taboo subject of why Kasahara joined the Library… which she ignored completely and reminisced about when she met that random guy. The next day, she spoke with Komaki. He was talking to her about the day’s lecture and she said that she’s… not good in the classroom (she sleeps). He even told her that Doujou had high expectations for her - which is why he “picks” on her the most.
When Doujou and Kasahara were walking together, Kasahara just acted mean to him :( They noticed a weird guy who acted suspicious. They followed him, but Kasahara followed first. It seems that that guy was trying to cut off a picture of a hot girl poster from a book. When Kasahara interrupted his cutting, he charged right at her with his cutter-blade-thing. She was able to successfully turn him over and smack him on the floor. Doujou came in and she started to tell him what she did, when all of a sudden the weird guy went to punch her. Doujou hurried to block and got punched instead. He restrained the weird guy and slapped Kasahara saying that they are NOT playing a high school game - it’s all serious stuff. This shocked her a lot.
At night time, Shibasaki congratulated Kasahara for restraining that weird guy. Kasahara was kind of amazed to hear this and later went for a walk. When she saw Doujou, she acted mean to him still and felt that that wasn’t what she wanted to say something else; she asked him why he wrote down her name in the report of restraining that weird guy. He told her that she shouldn’t doubt her officer’s action, which made her cry as she felt she didn’t deserve it. When he was leaving, she told him that she won’t give up (wait… how many times have I written this from other Anime series?) and that she’ll become like the librarian (laughs) that she met when she was in high school. He just said “Up to you”.
The next day, Kasahara and Genda went on patrol… or something. She saw a Ryoukahou van and knew that there were some Ryoukahou near by. A little girl was being picked on by them. She rushed to the bookstore and tried to act cool by saying the exact same stuff to the Ryoukahou people that she heard when that random guy saved her. It didn’t work and she reverted to her childish self that she was before she met that random guy. Amazingly, Doujou appeared and saved her from being beaten or up (or worse) by those Ryoukahou guys. I kind of wonder now: Why is it always pairs of threes? But I digress, Doujou and Kasahara started arguing afterwards with her talking about becoming the “Prince Charming” she met when she was in high school. Doujou told her to follow her prince by giving back the book she had in her hand to the little girl and she hurried off to do so. Komaki laughed at Kasahara’s comment on “Prince Charming” . Later on, Kasahara was VIVIFIED to read that she was accepted to the Library Special Task Force.
Well, a new Anime to blog for me :| I seriously need more time (or bloggers >.>). On a side note, I finished watching Shakugan no Shana a few days (or weeks) ago. So I’ll probably blog all of that first before I continue Hayate. I more or less have a whole lot of things to do besides blogging, but procrastinate at each and every one of my tasks. Meh, I also want a new theme but are to lazy to find + optimize one.
Toshokan Sensou (Library War) is an awesome Anime that was suggested to me by someone with the username Kyrien. I was a bit skeptical as to watching it, but when I actually saw it… it was GREAT! It was so great that I even wanted to blog about it. So here it is. I really like the graphics, chibi-ness, and I guess some sort of “romance” between Kasahara and Doujou. The best part is that fit’s also comedic.

Wow, having just finished the series (and TOTALLY loving every bit of it), I’m really glad to see someone picking it up and enjoying this series from the get go :D
w00t! *spots a TS lover* XD
you’re on the right track my friend, watch TS for the entertainment (of course feel free to dig in deep into the whole censorship and other allegorical truths it presents), and you certainly won’t be disappointed :3
