Toradora - 06

- Ami is assaulted by the Diet Force.
- She fake cries.
- On the roof with Minori and Tiger, Takasu notices some guy at the school gate.
- While going home, Ami runs toward Takasu showing that that same guy was stalking her. She needed a home to hide at.
- Tiger offers her condo. Of course, she agrees and as a result is tortured by by her via reading… I think.
- Kitamaru approaches Tiger and Takasu during lunch and asks Tiger if she could make Ami reveal her true self… which she immediate nods her head to.
- Ami is forced through fright to follow Tiger and not her “friends”.
- Kitamaru does a volunteer-recycling thing. Tiger forces Takasu to go. During the initiation, Kitamaru looked up at Sumire (the one with the megaphone) with pride to her.
- After Tiger and Ami insults each other, Tiger runs off with Minori while Ami stayed with Takasu.
- Ami more or less lied about wanting to do community service but plastered a mask on her face saying she did. Was freaked out when a frog jumped on her shoe and showed her dark side to him.
- Takasu asks her why she’s doing this and she gives a vague answer; “So this won’t work on Takasu either…”
- Ami blurts out “I’m a natural airhead” and runs off… she later sees the stalker.
- Ami reveals that she quit modeling and moved schools because that stalker was stalking her.
- Tiger and Minori walks down the stairs when the stalker revealed himself and started taking pictures. This resulted in Tiger attacking him.
- Feeling inferior to Tiger, Ami went and ran after the stalker herself. She went right in front of him and showed her darkside to him; crushed his camera and kicked him as well. This surely traumatized the jerk-ass stalker.
- Ami stayed at Takasu’s house this time and even asks him if he would like her if she showed her true self… with a sexy pose! :O Tiger popped in with a vivified face and dropped her garbage.

You know what, I take back all I said about Ami’s {female doginess}. I can understand why she does all this crap and really, I think she should have called the police to capture this idiot (the stalker). I’m starting to like the dark side of her because it’s her real, truthful self. What I was kind of-sort of-not really surprised about was that Tiger would get pissed off whenever some girl flounces to Takasu. Including when she dropped her garbage in amazement from seeing Ami trying to seduce Takasu. Which brings me to another point: Why didn’t Takasu say that he likes someone else (i.e. Minori) so that it MIGHT make Ami stop? Maybe he’s just too nice to say “no” to people.

    You know for the entire episode I couldn’t help but wonder why nothing happened between Ryuuji and Minori, like the usual blushing or getting to know her more, or the fact that she was going to pick up litter with him. I think he’s the character that finds it hard to say “no” to people, but now I don’t know who he could possibly end up with.

    Well, if you’d watched Episode 5, Ami did say she was going to take Ryuuji away from Taiga even though she didn’t need him… so if he said he had someone, she’d STILL push. Whether to tease, or because she’s serious, she’d more than likely push anyways. Beyond that, Taiga’s slightly possessive air regarding Ryuuji (he provides her food, he gives her company and a family situation that’s not painful to be in) would make her come to a halt if she stumbled in on him with anyone…. much less Ami who was less than fully dressed.

    @blissmo,
    I wondered that as well. Even on the ceiling he didn’t fidget. Makes me think that maybe he’s able to control his feelings more because Taiga excessively brought him to see her a lot at work. I don’t think Takasu ever said “no” to anyone who’ve asked him for help so far.

    @Haesslich,
    Yea… all true… ;( Though, I would’ve expected Taiga to do something like “Uh….um… I’m so-sorry that y-your busy… b-ye!” you know? But to stop and have that vivified face just gives me weird ideas <.< Didn’t you think that when you finished seeing it? :O

    Kitamura called it right last episode. It’s as if Toradora! wants us to be, or to take on Kitamura’s attitude while viewing the series. He’s been right so far with his treatment of all the characters, and gives us an anchor by which to settle us as the characters go through their histrionics.

    Funny thing, though. I google’d the Toradora novel and read some funky stuff.
