Shakugan no Shana - Movie

Well, this is just a review of the first few episodes. Or was it just one? Meh, I can’t remember. Anyways:

It starts out with Friagne killing off a Flame Haze. In a (book?) store, Hirai talks to Yoshida about confessing to Sakai. She runs off instead. Sakai talks to Hirai and they leave. All of a sudden, Fuzetsu (I guess it’s a dimension untouched by normal Humans) covered the city. A monster devours the souls, including Hirai. Sakai calls for her, and the monster (Rinne) notices him. It believes that he’s a Myste, a Torch with a “treasure”. A Torch is assumingly the remnants of an devoured soul. It tries to eat him as well.

Shakugan appeared and saved in though. And kills the Rinne. Then she cuts Sakai, and a doll that came out of him, but the doll escaped. Shana returns the city “to normal”. Sakai sees that everyone who were devoured by the Rinne now has a fire in them. He starts to panic and asks Shana what’s wrong. She didn’t want to at first, but momentarily told him.

Skipping a bunch of useless information such as Hirai disappearing and Shana taking over, Friagne appearing at school, and going off, it’s night time and Sakai asks Shana to go to his room because it’s raining. Shana agrees and she was about to undress until Sakai started to fret about it. Sakai becomes embarrassed and tells him to hide. He tells her that they should go search for something… I think it was to lure Friagne. He falls out of his hiding place and she hits him (Though it didn’t show it).

Margery Daw appears and was destroying any Torches she saw. Sakai was troubled by this. They run to her, but Margery pushes Sakai away. Later Friagne appears and fights with Shana and Margery. They were losing because Friagne had relics that protected/strengthened him. Including since he used a bell to explode Torches. He kidnaps Sakai and leaves.

At night, Friagne waits for Shana and Margery to appear, which they did. They started to fight. They were losing, again. His puppet Marianne sacrificed herself to protect Friagne. Friagne started to “lose his mind”. He was about to kill Shana with a Gun and ring the bell (which assumingly is supposed to make the city into a large amount of energy) a few more times, but Sakai yells Fuzetsu and the bell’s power was dispelled. He shoots Shana.

Alastor appears and destroyed Friagne. It didn’t show this, but I believe Shana used most of Sakai’s Torch fire to restore the city. Sakai believes that he’s about to disappear, and tells Shana to keep the name Shana (which he gave her). She agrees. Then when it was midnight, Shana laughs because she knew he wouldn’t disappear as he had a Reiji Maigo. Reiji Maigo just replenishes a Torch’s fire every midnight. Happy ending!

Well… I wouldn’t call this a movie even. Hell, it’s like they just added missing portions to the first few episodes of Shakugan no Shana. And that’s bullshit I tell ya. If only there was a crying Shana would that make us Otaku’s happy. Yeaaa, cute. But still, this is like a friggin review of the first few episodes of Shakugan no Shana. I mean really, don’t they have a real mind as to make a movie that is different from the episodes? Like say another Tomogara fight.Note to self: Use images without any text.
