Hello everyone! It’s your friendly neighborhood greenhorn signing up for blogging rights here at Fallen Aizen. Since the spring season is still a few weeks off, I am going to be picking up mid season on a few shows.

After many years of study, I have a degree in Slayersology (yes, I have a problem) and a penchant for dark animes that pay homage to the dystopic 80’s. Hence, I will be covering Slayers Evolution-R and Casshern sins for their last few episodes. Yeah, it’s been a hard road to keep following Casshern, but for that one other person out there who also thinks that it might just be worth it…I’m with you buddy and we are going to get through this.

Additionally, if I have time I will be dishing out thoughts, reviews and bloggage on Axis power’s Hetalia and Clannad After Story. Both series tend to make me sob….for different reasons.

I am looking forward to discussing these shows and hopefully more as time progresses. Posts should be following soon in the next day or two as I get my ducks in a row. While I don’t have any street cred as a blogger, I used to make AMV’s back in the day and have been watching anime for over 15 years. Generally I have plenty to say about an episode. Sometimes I just gun it and other times I take detailed notes. Just depends on my mood.

until next time +++purelyshin

    Oh great, another blog I’m going to have to take care in viewing to avoid Clannad spoilers :p

    I heard good things about Casshern around the middle of the season, but haven’t heard anything since. Is it turning out to not be so great, or what? I never bothered to follow it myself as it didn’t really ever get me interested.

    @Nazarielle: haha, I’ll be tactful about Clannad spoilers. Thanks for reminding me about that. Hm…about Casshern…don’t get me wrong, I really like it, but the pace is laborious at times and fantastic at others. Lets just say that if they wow me at the end, it will be totally worth it.

    Haruhi Suzumiya. Fushigi Yuugi.

    That’s what I can name off the top of my head. Probably because I watched it when I was pretty new to Anime, I feel that the ending is better.

    I’ve been very impressed with Casshern, but I don’t have much taste.
