My Plan-to-Watch List — Winter 2008
I guess I should say 2009… but Who Subs What says it’s Winter 2008. As a result, this is a bit belated. Just so that all can note, if I say I’m going to blog it I mean I’ll just post it and my thoughts – most likely without image summaries. The (current) exception is Toradora. To add to it, I might not even blog about each episode – it’ll mainly be about my thoughts and what I noticed; my first impressions of the episode.
Akikan
So I heard this show was about a guy who bought a soda can which turns into a hot girl who has magical powers. Sounds like some sort of teenage-Moetan to me. From what Random Curiosity said, drinking her is like tapping her. Weird but OK. I haven’t watched this YET but plan to during the weekend. Will I blog it? No. Main reason is that though I may like loli, I do not like magical girls (main reason for why I stopped watching Moetan even though it had lots of sexy loli shots).
Maria+Holic
I’ve watched one episode of this and I laughed my arse off. Amazing at how manipulative Mr. Maria is. I’m definitely going to blog about this whenever possible (possible this saturday/sunday as well). The main point of this story is that a girl, Kanako, is allergic to males and has a lesbian-like personality. It’s like a whole new Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru story for me – but this time the crossdresser has a hegemony. I’ll watch it until the end – even if it does start to get boring/sucky.
Marimite Season 4
I really was relenting from watching Marimite S.IV. I mean, first season = no yuri action. Second season = no yuri action. third season = All I remember are guys in it who ruined the maybe-yuri-action. The fourth season might just let me down but I’ll be damned if I don’t watch it. Including since this should be the last (or maybe second last) year that Yumi is in this school for females [only]. I will watch it and I’ll sparsely blog my anger into it when possible. But regardless, the characters look better and they FINALLY are using a new OP/ED. That banal OP/ED pissed me off a lot.
Kurokami
So I heard that Kurokami is about a guy who lost his arm and then a girl gave him her’s. My first perverted thoughts were: He’s going to use that arm in the bathroom. My first “otaku” thoughts were: Ohh yeaaa, this sounds hot with action and romance. But from what MyAnimeList and AnimeNfo says, it’s Action + Fantasy. That’s a downer but whatever – romance isn’t everything I look for in an Anime. I’m definitely going to blog it when it comes out.
Kuroshitsuji
So I recently learned that Kuroshitsuji the Anime is just showing fillers now. /facepalm. I didn’t even notice/feel the filler thing until someone told me. Really, I thought it was all fine and dandy until I saw that. I’ll still watch it as I haven’t read the Manga yet. Regardless, I still like Kuroshitsuji as it reminds me of Hayate no Gotoku and is awesome because it has a demon butler. But anyways, I’m not going to blog this. And did anyone notice that the title is like, “Dark Butler?”
To Aru Majutsu no Index
I’m all in for the loli-not-trap Index love of To Aru Majutsu no Index. I’m still going to watch this, but I won’t blog it. As said, I don’t like magical girls and such. Romance is OK but add in magic to it and I /facepalm myself. And if they add in corny lines like “Super Magical Powerful Glittering Cute-Moe-Moe-Nom-Nom Armor!”, I’ll /headdesk. But enough about that. To Aru Majutsu is nice to watch and the fact that they don’t have that moe-magic-cantations makes me want to watch it more.
Toradora
Straight up blogging it. I just can’t wait to see as the story unfolds with Taiga x Ryugi. At the same time, I’m hoping for a Ami x Ryugi ending. Why? Because Ami is really a nice girl who is cute. She’s kind of tsundere and well, her bewbs are nice (Picture only to relate to why it is nice). I like loli and all, but there are borders whenever I see a real girl who is hot.

What’s all this about you loving lolis when you were drooling over Ami? Psh, liar.
Kurokami is out, WATCH IT! Even if you watch it raw, it’s not hard to grasp what’s going on. Your mileage may vary, but even I was able to understand the basic concept from the few words I know. You seem to prefer romance anime much more than I do, but you can’t possibly not enjoy the awesome action scenes in Kurokami.
Akikan is pretty lulz. But if you try to take it seriously it might just give you a headache.
To Aru Majutsu no Index I dropped after the 6th episode. Way too many giant ass monologues.
Kuroshitsuji I never even looked at. Looked like it could be interesting, but nothing I saw ever got me interested enough to go and actually check it out for myself.
And speaking of Toradora, time to watch the 14th episode! :D
No Oppai = Not as hot. If there was no Ami I’d pick Taiga. But there is, so NO LOLI LOVE :D
I was thinking of watching Raws, but then I reminisced that I tried to watch Bleach raw’d. I didn’t understand crap except the fact that Ichigo was going to beat another Arancar’s ass. And yea… romance is nice. Just no incest, pls.

True that. But as it’s entering the stage of Accelerator VS Touma, I continued. If it disappoints me, though, I MIGHT (though unlikely) drop it.
O_O I wouldn’t exactly suggest Kuroshitsuji [anymore]. But if you like crossdressing shotas who have a butler who might just be gay, this is your show. I’m more into the action in this show than anything else.

Ah, I have to disagree good sir. No Oppai can be plenty hot. And too much Oppai = disgusting. Not that Ami is at that level, but anyway.
Well, watching the raws also kinda helps, because the first time through, you can focus on what’s going on, the second time, you can focus on reading the subs. Or you can do it in reverse, which is a bit smarter, but I’m impatient. :<
