Did anyone else catch the end of Slayers Evolution R? Arguably Evolution was far better than Revolutions, but wow, the end, albiet awesome, came out of nowhere. However, my love of Slayers will never diminish and thusly this week I give you Cruel Angels Slayers…..and one of the few Asuka based MAD’s that I can stand (gonna want to HQ that for better sync). Enjoy!

Could have been executed better, but hilarious all the same.

I never like Asuka because she was picking on Shinji too much. And I don’t like Shinji because he never was aggressive except when he broke down in his Angel. Evangelion WAS a cool show, though. It wasn’t as cool as Code Geass, though :3

I’ve never watched Slayers mainly since the plot seemed kind of… weird in the Manga. More or less if a Manga dissappoints me, you won’t be seeing me watching the Anime version unless it gets good reviews.

Well I’m a die hard Eva fan so as much as I enjoyed Geass I feel like they’re in two different categories. There’s too much of a style/time gap to really compare them in my book. Slayers is so old school. The shitty animation from the first season is a major turn off to people. However, the first season has some of its best story. The whole show is one huge running joke with lovable characters, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’ve got a vintage urg and have time on a rainy day.
