  Man this reminds me of so much stuff that I have forgotten. All the videos are great except the second one… they just had a catchier beat to it with good, corresponding images.

  One thing that always rung in my head was: What is Envy’s relationship with Edward? I wasn’t able to catch what he said when he transformed except for the fact that Envy hated Hohenheim

  Envy is the child that Hohenheim and Dante had. He died of mercury poisoning. Hohenheim tried to resurrect their son but then gave up. Envy thusly, hates Hohenheim and his other sons. His true form is not the one that we’re familiar with. He actually looks a lot like Hohenheim and his half brothers (do you remember ep 51 where he shape shifts and looks a lot like Hohenheim) A lot of people think that he just shifts into Hohenheim, but that’s not the case. He probably can’t stand that he looks like the people he hates the most.

  another fun fact is that the reason that Ed’s body is so small is because he is indirectly feeding Al’s body inside the gate. That’s why he has a growth spurt in the movie.

  Ed’s growth/life force is being drained by the gate in exchange for keeping Al’s body alive on the inside of the gate. That’s why he doesn’t grow much until the gate dumps Al back in the FMA world.
