Leave it to Eden of the East to add in funny + cute situations
Uh oh, I sense some gang raping…
So I finished watching Eden of the East. I was expecting a lot from this episode, but I didn’t get that lot. I got something, but it wasn’t the something I was expecting and was instead something that brought a feeling of content. I mean, the way they ended it kind of veered off from the 12 Selecaoss. I really wanted to learn more about the others. But who knows – maybe the next two (I believe I read somewhere that there was two) movies will explain something. What made it content was that no one was really sad and the NEETs weren’t rioting either. It gave a feeling of “And in the end, everything was OK.” To put it in a basic context, the end of Eden of the East was not a real ending. It was a kind of ending which would make one (or me) feel “What’s next?” but not desire to know what is next as well.
So the question on who the Supporter is was really to throw off the viewers so they’ll think “Wait, so Ato Saizo might not be the Supporter?” and/or something branching from it. Random Curiosity deduced that the cab driver in this episode was Mr. Outside. It makes sense that he could be it – this is the last episode and so they (the producers) might have wanted to show “Hey, that guy is actually HIM!” Regardless, the game must be played. I really doubt Mr. Outside is the Supporter as when the Supporter was first shown, he looked pretty young.
One other thing I was a bit happier about was Panties. He was alive and also made every difference. What I thought was a bit off of this last episode was that Saki deduced Akira’s life. I don’t think that that really made sense but I had to agree to keep on watching the episode. I kind of chuckled hearing the johnny jokes play out again. But it wasn’t funny that there was a bunch of naked men in front of my computer screen. I almost stopped the show until I reasoned out to myself that their cocks were censored.
I believe Akira’s actually going to die. He spent his remaining money on becoming a King, so really, he has to die. Maybe this was what the first episode was really talking about – the “Hero”.

Selecao VII is the supporter
Nope…I don’t think there will be gang rape. The Johnnies are too small and they are NEETS after all who are probably more interested in 2D just as Micchon pointed out.
And yes…I’m happy pantsu is alive and well.
I thought it was satisfying conclusion to the television series given that there will be more content in the movies (worth say 6-8 eps). Also just to comment I don’t think Saki necessarily figured everything out herself. I think what happened was that off camera in episode 10 Number 1 did tell Akira everything that happened, from the NEETS betraying him and the work he did to move people around. They wanted it to be a cliffhanger though on what exactly Number 1 meant about those who betrayed him. The reason I think this is cause Akira comments that she listened to the end which she states until her battery ran out, but her battery running out was not shown in ep 10. Which meant she listened to more I believe than was shown on camera and that explains the clarity she had of the situation when explaining to the others in episode 11. That’s my belief at least. As with you I believe it would be hard to justify Saki deducing everything herself.
@7: And if your name was 8, that would make Selecao VIII the supporter :D
@Anchen: True, I just made the assumption that the phone was cut off after those two guys revealed that Akira was betrayed. Based on your logic, I would say yeah, that could have definitely happened.
