So I just came across this picture as I was searching for sth and it I questioned myself: “Why are characters in bed sheets so popular?” It may sound as a simple and one-sided subject but whatever ;p

Fetish Of course that would be the first reason! And the majority believes in this. What is sexier than an anime character almost half-naked lying on a bed with a tempting pose? It’s the ultimate Otaku fantasy¹…Not long ago, the sexiest pose in the planet started applying to male characters as well, causing millions of fangirls to scream like crazy. It was probably the second era of Fanservice, which started with manga and ended with today’s anime -the moving temptation and hentai shows that surpass by far the simple, still image- Even though anime pr0ns are the current trend, some bits of the 2nd era are used as those images can still be used to decorate a classic otaku’s room.

Cuteness It is just freakin’ cute!!! Apart from sexy and tempting poses we have also a variety of dressed anime chracters that pose in bed sheets just for their cuteness. A fangirl could also make a poster out of it just to look at it, not to fantasize with it! Anime characters are naturally cute, so posing just adds to the cuteness ^^

zZzZzZ You know anime characters need some sleep too >< It’s just that some of them prefer sleeping naked! O_O
