Katekyo Hitman Reborn -Episode 144-

I am not really in the mood to post this right now cause I am lacking inspiration but I have to do some cleanup so…There you have it

1. My cute Chrome…

Reborn 144-1 For some unexplained reason the episode begins with Chrome and not the Arcobaleno Trial which I found a little… irritating! Of course that changed when I saw Ken ^^ but Chikusa whose hairstyle sucks made me turn: “Okay?…next one please” I actually liked it when we got to see the escaped-from-madhouse-costume Chrome cause her hairstyle is soooo pwetty ^^¹. Mukuro was there to state the obvious: Oh, my cute Chrome, noone will hurt you while Daddy’s here and then made his exit. So we fly off the stage² and move to the main course.

2. Arcobaleno Trial – Blue Pacifier – Part 1

Reborn 144-2 Punches, punches, punches! Tsuna punches, Colonello punches and all sorts of punches compose the first part of the trial where Tsuna gets beaten up by Colonello and then shot with a Maximun Burst which unfortunately concludes the first part! It was interesting but in reviewing it gives off a poor amount of lines. Still I hate Reborn and how he finds the whole thing amusing >.<

3. Hime and Monta got sidetracked!!!

Reborn 144-3 WTF! Right when things got interesting, we get to see Hime shopping! For those who didn’t notice, the owner of the stand is Fon who is I-pin’s master and also the Arcobaleno who holds the red pacifier. After a lovely scene with Haru eating and Monta’s sharp tongue, Shamal buts in and proves to be useful for the first time in the whole anime! That’s because Hime and Monta aren’t as innocent as they look. At the end of this section we get to see Hime’s super-duper-extra rare angry and totally failed face. I got the impression that she was serious for a moment…She should be thinking: I payed for those and they went to waste thanks to this bastard man.

4. Arcobaleno Trial – Blue Pacifier – Part 2

Reborn 144-4 Colonello thought that he had actually hit Tsuna³ but he hadn’t predicted Gokudera’s C.A.I System that proved to be useful. At that point we get to see a display of Gokudera’s bomb set the prettiest⁴ of which is the Cloud Attribute one⁵. However, Gokudera acted as a decoy⁶ in order to buy Tsuna some time in which Tsuna managed to prepare a fine X-Burner that finished Colonello off with a single shot. If Colonello hadn’t shot a Maximun Burst he would have been so melted⁷. Tsuna then just takes Colonello’s I-don’t-know-how-it’s-called thingie and clears the first Arcobaleno Trial and gets the first Seal! Yay for Tsuna!

5. Skull is so twisted :O

Reborn 144-5 The Arcobalenos take a different route and after a LalxColonello romance moment Skull⁸ shows up and states that he will be the opponent for the next Arcobaleno Trial. Of course he gets totally ignored and then Viper appears and asks Skull what he wanted him to take care of⁹.

6. It’s Party Time!

At Tsuna’s house there is a BIG table with HUGE portions and upon looking at them, Tsuna thinks of Chrome¹⁰ and that she would probably be starving. So he asks his mother to make some rice balls and parts for where Chrome is. Viper’s Tsuna-illusions draw Hibari and Mukuro outside Kokuyo Health Center. At this point I thought that they were gonna bite Tsuna to death but hopefully they start fighting each other. The episode ends with Tsuna wondering what’s going on.
