Announcement: Recruiting Bloggers

Seriously, I never thought I would have to actually make a post dedicated to this, but school is harsh for me and so is time. So far the bloggers I’ve recruited are mainly real life friends and well, they also have a lot of trouble with school and such. My time is currently growing smaller and smaller so I can’t do everything I planned to do […]

Hayate no Gotoku - 52 [End]

Posted by Aizen on October 5th, 2008 at 5:11 PM

- Yukiji feels great with beer in the morning.
- Wataru is getting good business from the Mafia.
- Isumi and Sakuya are together pretending to be on the beach; Isumi didn’t go with Nagi as she didn’t want to bother Hayate and Nagi’s “alone time”.
- After Hinagiku revealed her love to Hamster on a Ferris Wheel, they become closer friends. I think she’s trying to get Hina to overcome her fear of heights. Or maybe scare the shite out of her.
- The Otaku Nagi stares at her TV for hours. Is ‘forced’ to go outside with Hayate and Maria. When Hayate told her that being outside is better, she remembered a guy who’s a thief, a liar, and didn’t keep promises.
- Hayate went to the past when he tried to capture Nagi’s straw hat. He meets little Nagi and calls her tiny. Gets Falcon Punched.
- He tries to get Nagi to play outside more; Promises her that he’ll protect her and see the stars with her. Ends up protecting her from the mafia before that even happens.
- Runs around the Aegean protecting Nagi. Even gets her straw hat shot. The cool thing was that he somehow jumped onto an attacking helicopter and destroys it.
- Uses his demon eyes to scare the assassins away.
- Goes with Nagi to the beach to see the stars.
- Little Nagi’s hat flew away again… with Hayate. Poor Little Nagi is left alone; isolated.
- Hayate is returned to the beach and it was nearing night. Nagi writes down on the sand “Liar” and saw Hayate. He gives the hat back to her and watches the stars together.

The End

So this is the final episode of Hayate no Gotoku… Finally! It’s been who knows how long since Hayate ended. I’m really sorry that I haven’t done this earlier, but procrastination just goes way too far. My addiction to PHP coding also lagged me down. Besides my problems: This episode wasn’t really funny in the beginning, but near the end kind of funny - things regarding Little Nagi using FALCON PUNCH on Hayate. Though, I also felt kind of sad for this episode. I mean, Hayate just ‘disappeared’ on Nagi right after he made a promise to her. So really, I think Hayate was at fault for making Nagi the Otaku she is. Completely OK yet not.

The ending was, surprisingly, fitting in my opinion. It ended with Nagi and Hayate sitting together, happy. It wasn’t something where… it seemed rushed. No, it was more of a feeling in which the two are going to be OK and was built to be at that spot. Another thing is that Season 2 was announced! I can’t wait for it to officially be released + fansubb’d; I’m also going to blog it. But before all of that hectic stuff, I’m going to blog episodes 1 - 26. I’ll probably start on episode 26 then down. After a day or so of blogging each episode, I’ll be moving the date of the day I posted it to probably a few mins/seconds/day of the episode after it; Episode 27 was blogged about a year ago - October 11th, 9:33 PM. What I’ll make 26’s date would probably be October 11th (or 12th), 8:33 PM or something.

The rating I would give this show is kind of controversial to me. I mean, I really like the show but then again it also has a few things which I didn’t like. One includes the censoring of things, but I can’t blame that as it IS illegal to do that. Another thing I didn’t like was that there was no real romance; the people always flirt but never do any action. But regardless, it was entertaining and cute. Including when two characters are known to be tsundere towards Hayate.

Well it’s not completely the final, there’s still season 2 in hopefully 2009 or earlier. Check wiki out.

Yea, I saw that on MyAnimeList a few days ago :P

I can’t wait for that to happen. Also I checked the wiki and I was surprised to see that uncensored versions of Hayate no Gotoku was released more than a year ago…

Quote:The Hayate the Combat Butler anime first aired on TV Tokyo in Japan on April 1, 2007, produced by animation studio SynergySP and with music by Kōtarō Nakagawa. The series is also slated to air on the CS television network Animax starting on October 25, 2007, where it will receive its satellite television premiere, and will be shown uncensored.

I wanna watch it :<
