Number 13 > Hayate. Period.

In this episode, Nagi and Maria wanted Hayate to do good in his next exam. Funny thing was that Maria gave the bet that if he fails, he’ll be fired as a Sanzenin butler. Basically, they just kicked him out of Nagi’s play-room and started playing games and stuff. Sakuya appeared and smacked Hayate as usual and give hints that he can go and see Nagi if he’s worried. She also reminded him that Himegami trusted that he’ll protect Nagi more than himself. That somewhat strengthened his mind… but not enough that he’d want to not look at Nagi (i.e. he went outside and wanted to check out Nagi. No, not that kind of check out).

Klause appeared in Nagi’s television - which was immediately smashed by Nagi. He told her that he prepared a new “butler” for her - Number 13. A robot that looks like Hayate. Nagi was reluctant to even accept this robot as her butler - let alone anyone besides Hayate himself. (Un)fortunately, the robot was nice and knew just how to get on the good side of people; he got Nagi and Maria to like him pretty instantly. Hayate saw this and was saddened. Soon, even Sakuya was talking with the robot. She smacked him and the robot “joked” around with her. That robot SURE knows how to be nice :D

Sakuya went to the subject that Hayate’s jealous and Nagi went jubiliant. The robot didn’t really understand the feeling of joy nor jealousy, so he asked them what “happy” was. They couldn’t really explain it to him. It seems that Makimura didn’t install such emotions to him. My question is: Can you really install emotions to a robot? :\ Anywho, he pretty much got Maria to dress up like a cat and “wow” him. Once he pressed a button to make her wear clothes from “Uratsu” something (With a character named Lum), she embarassingly stormed out the room. Next was Sakuya making food for Hayate. Hayate complimented her too much and Nagi got pissed; she attacked him. Sakuya left the room at the advice of Number 13. Nagi was angry with Hayate, so Number 13 said that Hayate didn’t deserve to be a butler of the Sanzenin. This made Nagi feel sorry for Hayate so she reverted to her nice nature. Number 13 gave Hayate a thumbs up and left the room.

A meteor was about the strike the Sanzenin’s estate. Number 13 used himself to block the meteor - at the price of making Nagi cry. I guess he can’t get all of the money, right? He’s a robot for bloody’s sake.

First thing I want to point out is that I’m finally using another Wordpress theme. I made a BUNCH of alterations to it so that it can fit the images and all of that. THOUGH if someone is able to point out what’s making the IE width problem, that would save me A LOT of trouble. Or heck, even suggestions for what I can do with this theme. Anyways, I know this theme isn’t what you can call “beautiful”, but I like mechanic styled themes - themes with too much design distracts me and stuff, ‘ya know? I just didn’t want to put up with the major flaws and lagginess of the previous theme I altered had (because I had less coding knowledge in the past). But I digress.

For this episode, Hayate is replaced by a robot! It was kind of funny as that robot understood situations, but felt no jealously BECAUSE he didn’t have that emotion installed. In fact, if you were to watch this episode from the beginning to the near end, you’d believe that the robot was actually TRYING to take Nagi away from Hayate and ruin his life as a butler. That would have been an awesome turning point, don’t you think? Then Hayate would have to win everyone over like the robot… OR he’ll be forced to use his ultimate technique! I’d sure like to see that again.

The next episode seems to really cute with Hinagiku and Hayate :) I would much rather Hayate go with Hinagiku then with Nagi right now. Sadly, I think Nagi’s going to ruin their “relationship” or something. Typical Nagi, right? Lastly, I know this summary is pretty short, but eh… the images will probably tell more than my confusing words, right? PS: For those who saw “Number 19″, I meant “Number 13″. Sorry ;(
