Next Episode:

I don’t know it, but I’m Tsundere
Nagi, Maria, Klause, and Hayate arrived to get on a giant boat and Hayate starts to freak out saying it’s huge - like the titanic. With that, Nagi told Klause to dynamite him. To get on with why Nagi wanted to go on a bought cruise, Nagi told Hayate to ask her about why she wanted to go on a boat cruise. When Hayate asked, Nagi starts to go shy and we go into a flashback. In the flashback, Nagi was drawing and had a vision from her own Manga that she should go on a boat cruise to strengthen the relationship with Hayate – in other words, instead of chasing the one she loves, she’ll make the one she loves chase her instead (Yes, I don’t get the relationship to the boat cruise either). Right after Nagi stepped out of the mansion, she thought that you can learn from the Manga you draw (Probably). Hayate called to Nagi and she answered normally, but then remembered that she should be ahead of him, so she acted coldly (Like you have a cold) instead. Hayate thought she was sick and later said that her shoe was untied. He tied it for her. She thanked him as if she was some sort of… Yakuza leader? Hayate didn’t really seem to be effected by it, but Nagi thought that Hayate was chasing after her while she regally walked away. Then back in the mansion, Maria told Nagi about Sakuya’s invitation to a boat cruise and thought up a romantic plan for her and Hayate.

Going back to the boat, Nagi was too shy to tell Hayate why she brought them along to the boat cruise. Hayate and Nagi were staring into the open from the boat when all of a sudden Sakuya called out to them, causing Hayate’s head to fall off. During the whole time on the boat, Nagi told Sakuya to make Hayate suffer. She did. When Hayate called out to Nagi, she would just turn her head and be totally tsundere. Finally, while the boat was rocking (Nagi told Sakuya to do so), Hayate fell into the pool and was starting to have fun swimming. Right when he got out of the pool, Nagi told Hayate to stop asking her everything… saddening the now puppy-eyed Hayate. This would have made Nagi stop being tsundere, but she just walked away from doing so. Maria appeared and asked Hayate what was wrong and he told her he thought Nagi was mad at him. Maria said it was probably because she couldn’t think or do anything about her Manga.

Nagi was having a random conversation with Sakuya (plus the question about where’s Isumi) and it soon went to the topic about the boat sinking. Sakuya said that wouldn’t happen unless terrorist were to appear and do so themselves. A gunshot or some sort of noise roared and well, terrorists appeared to raid. Nagi told the terrorists to go kidnap one person instead of a bunch – the candidate being Sakuya. On a side note, Hayate went into this room and passed by a detonator. In that room he went into, Isumi roamed. Going back to the terrorists: The butlers of Sakuya, Isumi, and Nagi (Klause) defeated them. The butlers tried to act all cool, and it would’ve worked until Sakuya said that their blunder of letting the terrorists on the boat won’t go away (i.e. they’re not off the “hook”). The terrorists started to talk about their life and Nagi made fun of them, causing one of ‘em to press a switch to detonate the detonator. The terrorists laughed in happiness, but then remembered that they’ll die and started becoming morbid.

Hayate awoken from the explosion and was bleeding. He saw Isumi drifting on a box. Klause was evacuating everyone, and Sakuya said that Isumi would be OK because she’s loved by the gods, but Hayate was more or less dead as he’s loved by the death gods. Nagi ran to search for Hayate. Hayate was pushing the box that Isumi was on, and two sharks appeared and wanted to devour him so he screamed. Hearing this, Nagi ran to Hayate’s voice. What she saw was pathetic: Hayate trying to not get eaten by the shark with Isumi trying to get Hayate to grab hold of a stick (or… poke him). Nagi jumped into the water and Hayate said there was another shark. The other shark appeared and was close to attacking Nagi. In that instance Isumi was about to take action, but Hayate powered up and smacked the shark which was trying to eat him at the shark trying to attack Nagi. He fell down into the deep water, drowning and dying.

Hayate woke up and saw Klause. Nagi was glad that he was OK and wanted to talk to him, but he (for some reason *cough*) didn’t hear her and was only focused on thanking Klause. Klause said that he only did it because Nagi said so. Nagi was trying to talk to Hayate while he was talking to Klause and when they went to a part where Hayate was looking at Klause, blushing a little and Nagi yelled that she won’t allow “it”.

Narrator Note: For some reason, guys tend to like cold attitudes.

Well, I REALLY felt that Nagi was being overly tsunderely. She just can’t “get ahead” of Hayate without making him feel like crap or being a arse… Her ways of thinking about stuff are waaay too dramatic and as a lot of side effects. Like in the first episode or two - Nagi told Hayate to get out (of her room), but Hayate thought she literally meant “Get out; your Fired”. In these kind of times, I wonder why can’t the Anime just go with the main characters admitting their unrequited love and have things over with. I mean sure it’s understandable that they want to expand it so that the Anime won’t end early, but COME ON! This is like a one-sided thing which needs to be settled with already (Oh crud, does that mean I think Hayate literally doesn’t like Nagi!?).

What’s funny was that Saki knew that Isumi was going to be A-OK and that Hayate would be more or less dead… because it’s just blatantly true. But still, if that WERE to be 100% true, we wouldn’t have a Hayate in Hayate no Gotoku anymore now would we? They should really change it to something like “Nagi no Ojou-sama” or something. If I said it wrong, don’t blame me - I don’t know Japanese. The bombers were extremely dumb. They were ready to hi-jack a titanic-like boat, but NOT ready to die if captured. Meh, stupidity goes a looong way in this Anime.
