Nagi was told by Maria that Hayate has resigned. Klaus was saying they should just obtain a replacement, so Nagi threw a giant dragon ball or something at him. Nagi pretty much blamed herself for Hayate’s resignation.
Hinagiku returned home just to see that Yukiji was drunk. Yukiji wanted a red Christmas instead of white. I’ve no idea what that means. She was blabbering about being a college girl and fainted. Hinagiku had to clean up the house and put Yukiji into a proper bed. Hinagiku went to Hakuo Academy thinking about “white Christmas”, when she saw Hayate. She asked him why he was here so he replied that he just came to get stuff he left in the classroom. Hinagiku replied that he wasn’t holding anything so Hayate just chuckled… Shion appeared and told the truth - that Hayate was there because he was bidding farewell to Nagi by visiting the classroom. She asked him if he decided yet, which Hayate said he wanted to talk to her personally. Hinagiku started to question him about what’s this about. Again, Shion explained… that there was a rumor spreading in the butler association about anyone who defeats Hayate will gain the Sanzenin’s estate. Hayate was holding onto his pocket… which Hinagiku noticed and started to grab at it. She said it was wrong to pick at other’s weak points. Shion started to use her powers, but Hayate interrupted and went to Shion. He told Hinagiku to please not tell Nagi. The picture showed Kuzuha stepping over the fallen Hayate.
When Hayate arrived at the stadium with Shion, Kuzuha greeted him and asked if he would be her vassal. Hayate, in response, asked if she would really let go of the Sanzenin’s estate, which she said she would. She said yes. He further questioned her about her motives after taking away his butler powers. She replied saying that he’ll be reborn as an even better butler - a perfect one if you may. Nagi continued to think about Hayate, when the phone called. Maria answered and it was Hinagiku. Nagi grabbed the phone and Hinagiku explained Hayate’s position - that he’s getting blackmailed over the Sanzenin’s estate. Nagi started to talk about a master and butler being together. She left Maria to watch the mansion while Nagi went to Hayate. Kuzuha ordered Shion to bring an item… which she brought while in a giant… Gundam Mobile Suit?
Kuzuha started to explain how she obtained the treasure… where she went to the Amazon wanting some vanilla beans, but instead found a cave about ancient butler civilization. Hayate asked a question, but Kuzuha continued with her story. Basically, Kuzuha continued into the deeper regions of the cave and found the giant snake, Jormungandr - their snake, which protected the treasure. It seems that Jormungandr hypnotized them and became guardians of the treasure, where they gained white snake powers and being a man powers. They started to do some weird dance and Hayate noted that they really are being manipulated. Kuzuha finally showed the ancient butler robe to Hayate… a dress? Other butlers couldn’t fit the dress, it seems. Shion said that after he wears it, he can’t take it off and if he gets rejected by the robe, he’ll transform into a white snake. Kuzuha started the ceremony to make Hayate wear the robe… with a blast, Hayate’s last words were “OJOU-SAMA!!!!”
In a helicopter, Nagi said the stadium should be where Hayate’s at. Hinagiku also told em he’s there. Princess God said that it has begun. When they entered the stadium, they saw Hayate in the dress… with pink eyes! Acting like a Neko maid who’s clumsy and stuff. You know, the usual. Hinagiku started to blush because of that. Neko Hayate saw them and said that their guests and he’ll prepare some tea. Nagi said that he didn’t even recognize her… Kuzuha said that Hayate’s HER butler now, look at the design… They looked at Hayate and saw that Hayate tripped. With a blushing face, Nagi said that she’ll be taking Hayate back. Hinagiku said to get the clothes off first.
Hingiku ran to attack, but the Jor controlled Kuzuha to attack her. He said he’s been waiting over 30,000 years just for snack time. From hearing how Kuzuha talks, Hinagiku was able to figure everything out (lol?). The snake has been manipulating everyone! Even the narrarator! When Nagi tried to go to Hayate, Shion appeared and said “We don’t need two mafters for Ayafaki Fayate!” and was shooting an energy beam. The SPs tried to protect her, but failed. Princess God appeared in the nick of time and saved Nagi. When Nagi called Princess God Himegami, he started to explain that he was Princess God again, but Nagi didn’t care and told him to take care of Shion. Shion shot at Princess God, but he blocked it with a block and kicked the Mobile Suit. Hinagiku continued to do kendo against a magic wielding Kuzuha.
Nagi tried to tell Hayate to take off those ridiculous clothes, but Hayate still acted like a maid and stuff. She started to strip Hayate with a bright smile on her face. She seemed to have been enjoying it. Princess God said that the suit isn’t complete yet. What was he planning? Kuzuha attacked Hinagiku and Shion captured Princess God. Jor was about to [attack] Hayate, but Nagi continued to say that Hayate’s her butler - that she’ll protect him nor give him to anyone. She doesn’t need anything but Hayate. This returned Hayate to normal. With a golden glow, he tried to apologize to Nagi, but Nagi said she’ll punish him later. Hayate charged. Princess God also used some sort of power up to destroy the Mobil Suit… Hinagiku attacked Kuzuha and Kuzuha called Hinagiku manfy. Hayate continued to defend for Nagi. Hayate started to glow.
Princess God started to read a book about the butler armor, but stopped because he couldn’t read a character. Hinagiku grabbed the booklet and found out, with Kuzuha, that the butler armor will only work for a butler who has once lost his powers and will accept him only if he holds the true soul of a butler… Hayate transformed into some sort of… guy with golden armor. I think it’s related to the Zodiac anime armor thing. Kuzuha said she’d “lofe to own this wafkthrough. Besides, there are too many myfteries that you can nefer solve wifout reading wafkthrough these days.” Hinagiku asked where Princess God obtained the book, and he said he got it from Ya*** ***tion. Once the transformation of Hayate was complete, everyone was unimpressed except Nagi. The snake continued to attack them, transforming into some sort of fire. Hayate used his original ultimate butler attack and shined like a rainbow. He destroyed the snake and the butler suit came off. Hayate has returned. The stadium collapsed and everyone evacuated.
Himegami said his thanks to him (Hayate), he was able to obtain the full awakened item and told Hayate to take care of Nagi. Nagi asked if he was just using them, and Himegami blatantly replied “I didn’t want to wear it even if it meant dispelling my curse.”, she continued to question him about the golden clothes. He said he’s not Himegami, he’s Princess God and will save the world one day. He said he only needs three more to get the legendary God Butler Dragon and left. Hayate said it’s ok for him to go away. Kuzuha seemed to have returned to normal and said that the curse must have worn off. Kuzuha and Shion still acted the same even without the curse. They remembered the data (blackmail), and Shion said that the memory card must be in pieces by now. Hinagiku and Nagi high fived. Maria heard on the phone that everything was ok and they’ll be returning home. From afar, Himegami looked at the helicopter Nagi was in.
Yukiji appeared and saw the destroyed building and Hinagiku said that a lot has happened and asked what she was doing out so late. Yukiji wanted some chasers and then realized her position and thought Hinagiku would hit her, but Hinagiku said she’ll join in - but will drink juice instead. Hayate said his thanks to Nagi and stuff. Nagi thought about awarding Hayate… Hamster was still selling cake, but realized that if they don’t sell she’ll get to at em. Nagi went to where she and Hayate first met. She gave him a warm coffee and made a speech about it and thanks Hayate. They both said their Merry Christmas’. Nagi was getting ready to kiss him, but Hayate thought Nagi was sleepy. She got pissed and smacked him. She walked away. Hayate went to her.
In the Sanzenin Mansion, it seems like all the characters which were left out in this episode were having a party for them.
Hayate joining Kuzuha… not a smart decision. I mean, can he REALLY trust her? I think not. In this episode, there’s A LOT of moe shots. And with the almighty Himegami being blatant and “stupid”… and even showing his true face, I’d say this episode was all-great. I’d feel more happy if they showed some more Nagi raping Hayate action, but this will have to do. Maybe some more Hinagiku parenting Yukiji as well. Seems as if Yukiji shows much more cuter expressions when she’s with her. It MIGHT be a preview of the end of Hayate no Gotoku, but it’s still a good preview.
Question’s I’m starting to develop: What’s Himegami’s true motive? Why did he even help Nagi? To trick her? Did Hayate just develop his Ultimate attack? Was that REALLY the preview of the last episode? When will Himegami appear again? How does he really sound like? Will Nagi and Hayate’s relationship go anywhere or will he go with Maria? If not Maria, then who, if any? And lastly: Does Hayate enjoy cross-dressing and/or does it for a hobby? So many questions, probably one fourth will be answered.

I can’t say that I’ll be blogging any of the 2008 Anime, but meh.
