Shion reported a rumor or something to Kuzuha, but Kuzuha just said that she has just about everything she wants… except Hayate. And for Christmas, Kuzuha wants Ayasaki Hayate, with wish tabs and were worth the time killer. Shion said those wish tabs were for the Tanabata Festival. From afar, a mysterious guy holds a banana.

December 24th, Hayate and Maria waits for Nagi to get ready for the party. Hayate wondered if she was playing a game, but Maria said that Nagi went last year as well because she was blackmailed. Maria showed Hayate a letter stating that if she doesn’t go, he (Nagi’s grandfather [Sanzenin Mikado]) will release embarrassing pictures of her… a little gothic Nagi. It seems like it was a reminder of a game that Mikado did to Nagi, which caused Mikado used fake information about some Dream*** 100MB Mk3 would be release; Nagi lost only 20 trillion yen. Hayate noticed that there was someone way behind Nagi… Himegami. Maria said he liked to go up on high places. Nagi appeared with the jacket which Hayate gave her a year ago.

Mikado announces that he’s still alive and well, so the estate of Sanzenin still stays with him. Merry Christmas. Nagi said that she snuck out of the party last year and had met Hayate. Sakuya appeared and started to make jokes about Nagi not suffocating in the large audience. Merry Choking, as Sakuya was about to say BUT was cut by Hayate. Hayate allowed her fan to slap his hand and said that he learnt it all from his master. Gilbert appeared and asked if Hayate could be defeated by him. Hayate reminisced about his past. Later, Mikado appeared and started called Hayate poor still. Sakuya complained that he didn’t dress like he was really in a party. Gilbert was begging for Mikado to give him the estate, but Sakuya got SPs to grab him. Mikado asked Hayate if he found meaning to his life, which Hayate replied that it was to protect Nagi. He asked “What for?” Hayate said that he has multiple debts to pay off… such as the 150 million yen one. Nagi interrupted and dragged Hayate away. Mikado went to Maria and said that Nagi was bullying him. Nagi came back and gave Maria a present. Mikado called Nagi shy and asked what she thought of Hayate. She told him that he was good and thought that the only problem was that Hayate most likely won’t accept Nagi’s feelings toward him.

Nagi and Hayate were outside and started to reminisce about the past… Nagi started to talk about the beautiful sky and that it’s romantic, and Hayate started to talk about the constellations and stuff. Nagi thought Hayate was shy and started to try and kiss him, but Hayate continued to talk… and was later interrupted by someone repeating “Gegegegegegege”. It the Cyborg Butler, meant to fight Hayate. Nagi asked Hayate to explain what’s happening. The Butler said he was 20 and used Drill Kick to attack Hayate, but Hayate grabbed Nagi and dodged. Next, he used Broken Heavy Knuckle and started to punch and kick Hayate… which succeeded. Hayate placed Nagi down and was ready to fight, but Kuzuha called and got her snake to paralyze him. Kuzuha appeared and said Merry Christmas to her. Nagi asked if she could leave her alone, but Shion grabbed Nagi. Nagi called her Chibi and Shion called Nagi Chibi-Chibi. Kuzuha used her snake to devour Hayate, which Hayate had a vision of Kuzuha kissing him. The snake spat him up. Hayate was about ready to fight, but the Butler attacked. Hayate said that the same attacks won’t work twice… but it did. He knocked Hayate down. The Butler used Heaven and Hell, attacking and defeating Hayate. Kuzuha told Shion to take a picture. She did the victory thing. A Crepe car appeared and Kuzuha went after it. Shion ordered the Butler to finish them off. Hayate told Nagi to run away, but she stayed and tried to protect Hayate. The Butler used his hammer to attack, but in that moment a mysterious guy appears and holds the hammer with a finger. It broke the hammer into pieces. The Butler ran away, and the mysterious guy used some sort of energy blast to beat him. Nagi went to Hayate, but he was unconscious. Nagi said that the mysterious guy was Himegami, but Himegami said he was not Himegami, but is Princess God. Note: Hime = Princess; Gami = God.

Hayate has a dream about his parents appearing and they asked him about his outfit. He said he’s a butler of the Sanzenin. They laughed at him saying he can’t even be in that position BECAUSE he was their son. Hayate woke in freight. Nagi and Maria were watching him. They were walking and talking about his loss and that he can probably be better later like in Manga. Klaus was yelling at Himegami about disappearing and reappearing even after being fired and about his mask. Nagi went up to him and smacked his head and he woke up. He wondered why it hurt and Nagi said she did it and if he wants another one. He got up and smacked her as well. Klaus yelled at him of why he did that, and he replied “An eye for an eye”, that’s his beauty. He said he’s not Himegami, he’s Princess God, an unknown warrior. They kept on calling on Himegami… Himegami Akane with Himegami saying he’s Princess God. Hayate asked why he was fired, and Nagi said he was fired because he was a dumbass. She said that because she has Hayate, she doesn’t need him.

Himegami and Nagi were about to drink tea, but Nagi said it was too hot. Hayate tripped and the kettle he was holding spilled all over Himegami. Ouch. Hayate started to wipe it. Klaus just yelled at him. That’s probably his only use as a butler now anyways. Later the day, Hayate made various mistakes and broke various things. The boxes behind her fell. He lost his edge. Through it all, Klaus yelled at him. Nishizawa was selling Christmas Cakes and all of a sudden sensed Hayate’s misfortune. Maria told Hayate to take a break. He didn’t want to, but Nagi also suggested it. After Hayate left, Maria started to talk about what’s wrong - he couldn’t do anything a normal butler can do. Nagi wonders if she’s an incapable master… thinking that she wants to cheer him, but cant. That he can make mistakes, but thought of him as an invincible guy.

Hayate wonders what’s wrong with him, when Himegami told him that his butler powers were drained by Kuzuha. He was on top of a tree and jumped down. He was holding a banana and when Hayate noticed it, Himegami said “I’m not sharing with you”. Himegami continued to say that the curse superintendent of Hakuo Academy caused his butler powers to dissipitate. Himegami showed Nagi’s doujin and Hayate asked if he was watching Nagi all this time. Instead of answering, Himegami rapidly went in front of Hayate and said that Nagi’s sad because she placed so much trust in him and he lost - that there’s no way for him to protect Nagi. To demonstrate this, he punched Hayate. He told Hayate to leave the Sanzenin. It started to snow.

When Hayate went to his room, there was a letter with no address or stamp. He read it and was surprised. Maria tried to go to his room, but had no answer so she went inside. She noticed a paper on Hayate’s table… a Letter of Resignation. Hayate left in the darkness saying that that’s the only way to protect Nagi…

“Urusai, Urusai, Urusai!” Greatest Shakugan no Shana quote. The beginning was pretty boring… and to think that Nagi would actually try to kiss Hayate. And the “grand” appearance of Himegami! The Princess God! Why does he wear a friggin mask? What’s he trying to hide? He seems VERY powerful… but maybe Hayate can match his powers, seeing as Kuzuha took away Hayate’s butler abilities. It’d be friggin awesome to see such a fight. Seeing as the preview tells us that Hayate has left Nagi to protect her by joining up with Kuzuha… I wonder how will Nagi react. And after all this I wonder… does Hayate love Nagi? Why go to such an extent to save someone which others call a “young-sistery love” or something? Maybe it’s just because Hayate has a loli-complex. Who knows for now. I’m still sticking with the idea that Hayate probably loves Nagi. Oh and, gothic-loli-er version of Nagi = Greatest + Cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

If I wasn’t concerned about my webspace, I would’ve probably had ~132+ images ready to be uploaded. Instead, I’ve cut it to about 102. Literally the highest as so many events happened in this episode. Have fun loading ‘em (lol).
