Klaus had a dream about being a retired butler in Brazil. Noticing that, he said that he’ll be a Sanzenin butler until the end. Tama appeared and said that he has nothing to do - that there’s already a replacement for Himegami, Hayate, who can also handle the selfish Nagi. Klaus just replied that that he couldn’t leave the rookie with Nagi, so Tama said he’ll be spending his time in Brazil with him and jumped on him. Klaus wakes up with Tama sleeping on top of him. He saw a ad about Brazil. Tama “woke up” and did the evil shadow face.

Klaus started his day by ironing newspaper. He mentions his dream to Nagi and Nagi said he can retire if he wants. He panicked and said that it was only a dream, but Nagi said that according to Freud, dreams are visions of your hidden desires. He asks Nagi what would happen if he wasn’t there, and she replied that nothing will happen - the other butlers can handle everything. How scared Klaus was. Hayate bumped into a sulking Klaus, in which when he touched he was rejected by a barrier (of the soul). Maria appeared and explained. They wonder what happened to Klaus, so they asked Nagi. Nagi explained and Maria said that butlers who’ve worked for a long time usually recieves a large house and such. Nagi likes Klaus for fooling around with. She tells them to go get him back.

Maria went into Klaus’ room and found him sulking about going to Brazil and stuff so she said that Nagi didn’t mean it. He still whined about it and Maria said she’ll tell Nagi, but he grabbed Maria’s leg and told her that he’ll become a footman. Someone who works below a butler. Tama was staring out that his plan’s getting ruined for almost going to Brazil.

Klaus challenged Hayate and said he had a flaw. Nagi said it was cross-dressing. He said he had an attitude like that of a main character, which he basically is one. For 24 hours, they’ll see who has the better butler skills, but if he loses Klaus will leave. First thing was about serving tea. Hayate blatantly passed. Klaus went into depression again. Hayate and Nagi went to school. Klaus was just acting as a statue, but ran after them. Nagi and Hayate were making noise, so Yukiji threw chalk at them. Hayate was prepared to protect Nagi, but a knife appeared and splitted the chalk in half. It was Klaus. Yukiji started to talk about things related to wine and went after (and attacked) Klaus.

Risa, Izumi, and Miki were playing hooky again. They wanted a butler to make them tea. Yukiji continued to attack Klaus, but he used a dummy to recieve damage. He was hanging on a tree, but his back cracked and he fell. Risa and friends saw him and helped him. He gave them tea and cake as a repayment. They thanked him. Klaus thought that any butler’s desire is to hear their master thank them. Yukiji appeared wanting wine, but Hinagiku appeared and started chastising Yukiji about attacking old men. Klaus was shocked to hear about him being old. Even Risa and the others agreed. He pessimistically walks away. Nagi and Hayate were searching for Klaus, and finally found him. At that moment, Himuro appeared with flower petals surrounding him. He introudices Taiga to him. Klaus started to talk about old-time butler respect and stuff. Himuro responded that this is the Heisei era and Klaus speaks like Edward; that such a butler is aging. Himuro took Klaus’ tie and told Klaus to just retire. Klaus replied that he’s his master’s shadow and walked away.

Hayate asked Maria if there’s any way to get Klaus to stay, but Maria said he’d have to go through a little change for that to happen… Klaus was staring at the Sanzenin’s mansion and sky when all of a sudden Hayate as an angel appeared before him, with a bunch of effects generated by Maria. Klaus asked Hayate for his name, and Maria almost said Ayasaki Hayate, but quickly corrected it to be Hermione, Goddess of the Sanzenin’s Lake. Hayate told Klaus to not quit, but he kept on saying that he’s old so Hayate started to massage him. Tama saw this and noticed a “cute girl” and jumped after Hayate. Since Hayate dissapeared, Klaus thought he was getting even older. Hayate found out that Tama was the one who who made Klaus think of quitting - Tama wanted to go see a female Tiger. Before Hayate beat up Tama, he told him that tigers don’t live in Brazil. He was about to tell Klaus of Tama, but remembered that only he knows that Tama can talk.

Klaus was leaving the Sanzenin’s mansion and started to reminisce about the past with Nagi. How cute Nagi was… total cute loli. Hayate appeared trying to tell Klaus to not quit, but Klaus said he’s made up his mind. Nagi then appeared saying that she needed him to iron her newspaper, so Klaus decided to not quit and help iron the newspaper for Nagi.

Funny Klaus, being tricked by Tama and all that is. He’s been with Tama, alone with Tama, and etc with Tama yet Tama NEVER spoke a word to him!? Seems really weird… Klaus also seems to get the greatest crap out of everyone… at his own fault. But who can blame him? He’s old and has nothing better to do than annoy people and feel superior over others, in one way or another. How did he became the Sanzenin’s butler I’ll never know. Maybe the years caused him to go loopy. Or maybe the Sanzenins accept anyone who’s idiotic to actually join them. Also, doesn’t Klaus have any REAL friends? I mean he can go hang out with them, right (If he has any)?

Hayate cross-dressing: Oh My Goddess style. Weirdo. Though, if you wanted to keep someone with you you might do the most far-fetched thing. I wonder when will Tama get a bigger beating from Hayate - I mean a really BAD beating where he starts to avoid Hayate. Not one where he’ll feel the need to get revenge and cause Hayate to get fired. Tama just seems to not know his limits OR knowledge of anything.

As an addition, WHO IS Himegami? Is it that kid who helped hypnotized Nagi or what? Seriously!
