Next Episode:

The dark butlers pleaded Kureha to let them try and capture Hayate again, but she refused. All of a sudden, a new dark butler appeared and asked if he could try. Kureha at first refused, but then accepted after he gave her some sweets from the previous episode.

Hayate finished doing his work for the School Festival which the council (Risa, Izumi, and Miki) gave to him. Hayate was leaving but they appeared and asked him to help some more. Hayate tried leaving again, but they grabbed him and gave him the puppy dog eyes and a jar of beans… which he ate and was rejuvenated. He was dragged back into the school to help for the festival. Nagi was holding her own festival - a solo doujin festival. Maria told Nagi about the school festival, but Nagi didn’t want to go. Then Maria told Nagi about Hayate being in the cosplay job, so Nagi went to the festival. Maria thought Nagi was a kid to herself, but when she looked at Nagi’s book… she thought otherwise.

Hayate was serving his customers… but the customers were his co-workers (or the council, to be exact). He was somewhat annoyed by this. They told him that he was moving faster than they could work. Hayate said that they changed the cosplay job to a butler job and they were somewhat… and they reacted with the “not knowing what your saying” kinda thing. Katsura appeared and grabbed Hayate because she needed help. Nagi appeared and started to explain why she was there, but was told that Hayate was kidnapped by Katsura.

Hinagiku was walking with her assistant to check if Kureha was doing anything suspicious… which she wasn’t. They saw Hayate being mobbed with questions - that Katsura wasn’t answering the questions herself because she didn’t know what to say. Hinagiku saved Hayate and appointed her assistant to give advice… in which the assistant was harsh on. Hinagiku bought some creampuffs and said that Hayate’s face looked very hungry, so she got some food for him. He started crying for her kindness and she was about to put a creampuff into his mouth… but instead he was engulfed by a snake.

Nagi was walking around the school, searching for Hayate but to no avail. She started crying feeling that the crowd was uncomfortable or something. The mysterious dark butler appeared and asked Nagi to come… he predicts the future about stuff. Nagi was walking away saying it’s all fake, but he said that he’s 100% correct and that it’s about relationships between the Master and Butler. Nagi sat down and was later hypnotized by him.

The snake spat Hayate out and he had himself a “souvenir”. Hayate was speaking with Kureha and she got pissed that he always say “Ojou-sama” (Milady). That he’s boring. Maria called Hayate if Nagi arrived, which he said no. The SPs were cheering on for a singing girl. Hinagiku pointed that Nagi was here for awhile - clinging onto him. Hypnotized Nagi told Hayate that she wanted to go somewhere, and obliviously Hayate and Hinagiku knew something was wrong. They followed her. Kureha also followed but fainted due to lack of sugar. Nagi wanted Hayate to get her some food, which he did and Hinagiku said that maybe Nagi’s not even hypnotized. After various movings, they arrived at the old Hakuo Academy building.

Nagi said that she let him control her, so come out. The dark butler revealed himself and started to attack them with a robot. After a bunch of attacks, he lost and his machine exploded. Nagi was still hypnotized though, she continued talking about the festival and doujin books. Kureha got Nagi to follow her.

I literally had over 100 images… but that’s just too much. With all the Hayate abuse, Hinagiku cuteness, and Nagi being stupid, I felt good about this episode. The beginning was ok, but it continued to build up. With Nagi being hypnotized AND acting like her usual self after being hypnotized, it really made me laugh. I mean really, is she REALLY hypnotized? Seems very strange besides the fact that her eyes look hypnotized.
