Hayate no Gotoku!! – 06 + 07 – Stick with Hina!
So I’m actually kind of grouping things into small arcs. This one happened to have been the Hinagiku arc, if you ask me. You know, getting to know Hinagiku more. So the arc starts with Nagi feeling embarassed about Hayate seeing her naked and also of kissing him. As a result, she kicks Hayate out of the mansion for three days, supplying him with one million yen to survive. The funny thing I thought from this was: Why three days? Why not five or ten? Or a month or more? Sure as hell seems convenient for such a thing to be declared. At least the relationship with Hayate and Hinagiku increased. Including when it was much more obvious to people that she had feelings for him but hid behind it “wanting” others to be his lover instead 1. And the fact that she keeps on trying to support Hamster seems almost homosexual to me — even though it isn’t. Seriously, the only lesbian couples I would support would be Maria x Hinagiku. And at those times both girls must have their hair down or else their cuteness will go down by 10%.
It was kind of “amazing” to me that Nishizawa already knew that Hayate rejected her without him saying anything. I mean, I thought she still had hope but in all truth she didn’t. Hinagiku kind of revived her hope but pretty much you can say that that hope can only be kept alive for a short duration. Including if Hayate starts to date someone else. I mean, they should all really think of it as a game: Whoever openly confesses to Hayate and does not have a pedo-body 2, they will capture Hayate. That’s what I believe, at least. Or maybe not — I mean, he still has a hole in his heart from a past love 3. He seems to like to talk to and play with any girl, but his main interest is in mature gals. Even Hamster saw this. Maybe Hinagiku is supporting Hamster not exactly for support, but instad as a way for her to excuse herself from getting close to Hayate. Seems to make a lot more sense, right?
The final thing I want to talk about in this arc is that Hayate is too nice. I think the reason for his unluckiness isn’t because of his birth but that he is too nice and is too easy to control and take advantage of. He has the common sense to survive the world but he doesn’t have the personality to really say no to people he’s “cool” with. I think that type of skill is a must in the world. But in a way, butlers are stereotyped as people who obey everything their master tells them to. So maybe that kind of personality was just merged into his being. Anyways, he gave 1 million yen to a bunch of random people just because he happened to have seen them suffering. It was really nice and great of him to do that . I mean, in the end those people he helped gave Maria back Hayate’s money. I thought that was pretty cool, but because of Hayate’s fantastical mind of being pessimistic with money, he never really got the money back. The better outcome out of this was really what I have been talking of the whole previous two paragraphs: sticking with Hina.
Next Episode:
The next episode (which I might say is already released) will be about Tama and the new cat. It’s a competition for Nagi’s love and Tama isn’t winning.
