End of 2007 - Thoughts

Hayate no Gotoku has been a big blast in the beginning… with all the funny and stuff, but I must admit that the funny is starting to rust. Instead, we get some random fake-fighting action. Don’t get me wrong, I still like Hayate no Gotoku as the top Anime to blog, but it’s just not really to-be considered as funny as before and I’d still rate it a 10 out of 10. What I really would’ve wanted to happen in Hayate no Gotoku is to see something between Nagi and Hayate… Which also gets us to the point that it’s not really a romantic Anime anymore. It’s truly a random show.. so if you like randomness in an Anime, Hayate no Gotoku’s the one for you.

Shakugan no Shana II was one of the Anime I felt excited to watch as I watched Season I before. I felt that this season would do the following: More romance between Sakai and Shana, more fighting, and answers as to why or how Sakai became a Myste. What did I get instead? A revert to Sakai not knowing Shana’s true feelings, little to no fighting, and more questions as to what Sakai truly is. Seriously, Shakugan no Shana II sucks. But look at the “bright side”, it seems as if the show will get better as Pheeles just appeared. Suggestion to watch episodes 1 to 12: LOW. Suggestion to watch rest: Ranging from average to high. We’ll see the output when the show finishes…

Bamboo Blade pretty much followed the Manga… so I can’t say I was really INTO it until episodes… 8. Though, if I never read the Manga, I’m sure I would’ve been greatly into it. One of my sword-fight-fetishes, perhaps. At first, I was hoping something like romance would happen… but then I thought “That would sure be messed up”. Blame my loli fetish for that. I’d have to say though I’ve mostly seen little “real action”. It’s pretty much all head-smacking, arm-smacking, and etc-smacking. Kind of gets repititious in my opinion. Do I suggest others to watch it? Yes. It’s still interesting even without the Kendo thing… kinda comedic as well.

Doujin Work is an Anime about a girl who basically wanted money out of drawing Doujins… but later did it for fun. The drawing for this Anime isn’t perfect, but watchable and is sometimes funny. I couldn’t really get the characters at all except that they just continued to draw Doujin porn and stuff. I seriously felt that this anime was rushed in the end because it kinda left behind a lot of questions for me… Hence this isn’t really one of the Anime that I would say “Go ahead and watch”.

Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun… thinking about this, I should really start to finish this Anime along with others. Just a ecchi Anime where two cute girls want the same guy. I kind of like this Anime, but as this is one of those things that gives me the intention that it’ll be another School Days OR Da Capo, it doesn’t seem that good… in other words, another kill-the-main-guy (School Days) and/or the weird-events-which-blocks-love (Da Capo) thing. My suggestion to watch this is average - not too high yet not too low.

Kyou no Go no Ni is supposedly about 5th graders. When I look at them, they seem more like kids who’re in High School. Pretty much this Anime goes toward comedy, and if further, romance. These kids sure react unpredictably to one another. If you were expecting kids to just be nice kids who doesn’t know much about ecchi, your damn wrong. They don’t even act their age in my opinion. My suggestion to watch this is a “yea, watch it” as it’s comedy :)

Night Wizard gave me the first impression that it’s going to be a romantic comedy show. Well I see some comedy, but not really much or any romance. I felt that they would show more funny to the show as well, but got some sorta monster fights instead… which ends nearly instantly. Which brings me to the idea that I, more or less, like fights that lasts a 10 minutes or more. My suggestion to watch this anime is average, pretty much the same as Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun.
