Continued Story – Song by HITOMI

Maybe even a droplet of water can protect a flower.

That smile by itself is enough to encourage a reaching hand.

Maybe gathering those trembling voice, it’ll bring the wind.

The light of life is transient. Let’s lit it and march forward.

Lalalalalalalalalalan~
As long as being alive, we’ll meet again someday.

What is this overflowing affection, captured surpassing time?

Where are those people fitting with gentle eyes now?

Next is a new seat.
We’ll meet again, for the sake of future.

Try as much as possibile to live without embellishment.
Live in the day called “today”.

People in sorrow will not forget their pain.
Even so, the road continues on and on.

Lalalalalalalalalalan~
As long as being alive, we’ll meet again someday.

Lalalalalalalalalalan~
What wind carries is the melody that opens tomorrow.

*repeats

Now this song is what I call awesome :P For some reason, it reminded me of “It’s only the fairytale” from Mai-Hime. It’s one of those sad songs that is also happy, I guess. It was fit for the end of Lelouch vi Britannia. Though, some people have been bothered by such an end, so they sought truths and believed that Lelouch is still alive… that he’s the guy driving that… stagecoach? Meh, I just think he’s dead. It’s kind of one of those Elfen Lied kind of endings, isn’t it? Well, we can all believe.

animeotaku’s post says that Lelouch is alive with very convincing evidence… but I’m not that optimistic. One thing being that CC can be talking to the sky or an intangible form of Lelouch. Plus, didn’t Lelouch promise his death to Suzaku? Sure he can lie, but c’mon. I doubt that the World of C would be generous enough to give Lelouch Charle’s immortality and stuff. Orange-kun being happy for Lelouch’s death… he can just be happy as he knows that Lelouch is doing things for Britannia – that his failed attempts to protecting Marianna are now forgiven with his assistance to Lelouch.

Now, I’m not saying that I don’t believe that Lelouch is dead – I’m saying there’s no clear evidence except for our own imagination, hence I think he’s dead (but still believe he might be alive). One thing we can note is that there’s no tomb or funeral for Lelouch. So what happened there? Plus why isn’t Nunally still crying for Lelouch? Those might be signs that he can be alive. What would be awesome is if the creators of Code Geass were to tell us themselves. It’d be even better if a Code Geass 3 came out to explain the ending more. But then again, what would be in an “if-season-x”?

No problem. I’d be really happy if Code Geass were to make a third season, but as said, what plot would it have then?

    Maybe an OVA might work…

Thank you for uploading. This is one of the most beautiful and sad songs I think I have ever heard.

It fit almost perfectly into the anime and still might be one of my favorite songs. Not to mention that we weren’t expecting this song or something like it also makes it so much better.

Thank you so much! Just PERFECT, this song. It’s kind of curious, how this song can be so sad, but at the same time, it can make you feel happy for it.

    Arigatou Gozaimasu! ^^

    Thanks for the lyrics man…
But then, when I hear the song in its fullest form
there’s some unmistakable english in the beginning before the actual Japanese lyrics are acutally sung by Hitomi(I love you Hitomi!!!)
Can you please get those too? I’m getting vexed from not knowing.
Thanks man… and anybody else who can respond to this.
My email’s kamiyama_keiichi@yahoo.com in case anyone can mail it to me directly… thanks!

I always wondered that as well but never paid much attention to it.

At first I thought she sang the English part first (in poor English) but now I’m not really sure :[ I’ve google’d what she was saying and only came with the explanation that Hitomi sang it in her own English and doesn’t want people to know what she really said.

    From: lunchy
If I’m not mistaken, it’s in Hitomi’s special language, so the only person who knows the English version would be Hitomi herself, if she’s fluent in English, that is.

Though, this person also got some of the words down: http://community.livejournal.com/code_geass/1059442.html?thread=19847794#t19847794

Would be awesome for someone to decipher what she’s saying and post it here :o

when i first listened to this song,i thought that hitomi in the beggining was singing in english.now you confirmed my suspicions.i think that hitomi says “in this dark midnight ,when this fog is upon, can _ _ the shadows away” but i’m not very sure about that.what do you think?

For those of you wondering about another Code Geass, there is an official article on MyAnimeList under the News section. (Unfortunately, my computer is a P.O.S. and refuses to copy and paste anything.) But you can always go to the Sunrise Entertainment Website if you don’t trust the following.

The head director of the Code Geass Project declared that there would in fact be another Code Geass, but that it would most definitely be based from someone else’s point of view-not Lelouch’s.[Sorry for those of you who thought Lelouch may have miraculously managed to escape death, when he has, in fact, not. "Yes," says the director, "We mislead a lot if not the majority into thinking that Lelouch may possibly be alive. We are in fact in the beginnings of making another Code Geass, but all you will see of [Mr. Lamperouge] will be either past images, scenes, and possibly his voice in Nunally’s head.” This is all that the Head Director would share with other fellow Sunrise Boardroom members.

  • Aizen (author) said:

@Aya Hirano: I tried to search it up but as Sunrise = Japanese, I couldn’t understand shite. Plus I don’t know what website to look at (I used http://www.sunrise-inc.co.jp/geas/index.html ) The google translator did say something like “lelouch… final story…” but eh, as translators suck I wouldn’t trust it too much.

Do you know of a website which translates Sunrise stuff correctly? :o

Pretty much I believe that Lelouch is dead, but I would also want real evidence to be 100% sure and not just 80% sure by reading what you said. That way if someone else says “LELOUCH IS ALIVE U FUCKER” I can link them to the official thing to shut them up.

Through what some dude is saying in Sankaku’s forum, he uses inductive reason to say that Lelouch is alive (which may as well be false if what you’re saying is true) and that C.C.’s real name is “Elizabeth”. That name sounds corny and as it’s just an assumption, that can be false as well. Misinformation. Who knows. Did Sunrise even release C.C.’s name yet :>?
