Claymore 97 – Priscilla wants to eat Raki?!

So today’s the end of October and hence Claymore 97 was released. What I really dislike is that this series only comes out once a month… it kind of is like a joy killer. But then again, the author can think of more plots twists, right?
So after reading chapter 97, I focused more on the above two images. I –THINK– this is Priscilla but am not 100% sure. She sure kind of looks and acts like her if you ask me. And well, she’s pretty damn hungry from being unable to eat human organs and stuff. What she said right there really made me curious: Is Priscilla waiting for the right moment to eat Raki? And if so, why the wait? Why not just eat him right on the spot? What makes his meat so special?
And yet a bigger question: How did Priscilla and Raki get separated? The two were stuck to one another like glue before (and they probably did some scandalous shit together in the years apart). And what if Priscilla doesn’t want to eat Raki but instead actually holds some interest in him? I would think that that would be a very interesting plot twist. Anybody else able to think of why she’s searching for Raki (or “that man 1“)? As really, I never liked things which I couldn’t figure out.

Lol Priscilla wants to eat, but it’s probably not Raki though since she had plenty of chances to do it before. I think she did eat something though since she looks taller than when she was with Raki.

I’ve noticed a pattern about shonen mangas that have run for many episodes:
After a while, they just run long arcs in which the main character never appears, or does nothing signifigant:
Bleach:flash back, then captains vs arrancar, then yami making ichigo seem totally useless[i mean, if he can't cut yami even WITH his arrancar form, and the captains can, where does that leave him in terms how strong he is?]
Naruto: buncha retirees sitting around arguing
One Piece: luffy’s nothing next to everybody else. even mister potato[thats what i call the clown] gets more screen time than him.
then there’s claymore.
Maybe she’s following the scent of Isley, which would mean she is following the abyss feeders and just by coincidence met Beth.
I’m curious how Isley got separated from Priscilla and Raki in the first place. I smell a flashback chapter coming soon…
@TJ: I didn’t even notice the height difference as Raki’s height overshadowed Priscilla’s.
@RLR:ReallyLiekRLR: True; I just like knowing the end before I know the middle. Lots of Manga have filler arcs. I don’t like it at all :|
@deadguy: Maybe; that would be pretty interesting. But then again, she should have known about his “death” (I won’t say it is really a death since Manga has always surprised me) as she could easily sense his Yoki.
@Baka-Raptor: That’s a good question as well. Maybe he wanted to go to an Awakened Brothel? He is a man, you know.
That’s Priscilla alright, no doubt about it. Notice the hair. In previous chapters, Raki always said that Priscilla was holding back, but one day, the hunger will overcome her and that he knew she’d eat him. The reason she didn’t eat him all that time was because she treated him like a family of sorts, probably a remnant of her humanity. It had been shown that she always did seem like a child, and that she was attached to him.
Raki was captured by the organization, because he was being able to withstand those projectiles that the merged Rafaela and Luciela spurted out. Why Priscilla wasn’t around when he was captured hasn’t been shown yet. Maybe she was running away from the projectiles? Or maybe she had hit her limit and ran away while she can so she won’t eat Raki? So, she is definitely looking for Raki.
Isley got separated from the two of them, supposedly because he was already being pursued by the abyss hunters. To avoid endangering everyone, since they were only after him, he left his makeshift “family.” He did say before he died that he wished that he could have been with them longer, and that those were peaceful and simple times. I thought that his words seemed so un-Isley like, considering his ambition and ruthlessness. But I guess the mangaka just wanted to make his death more dramatic and sad. Isley was always was one of my favorite characters. He should have gotten more airtime, and his death should have been a little more “dignified”, I thought!
I like the series anyway!
@darkdrearydrifter: Trudat to everything you said. That sounds pretty logical. Though, I really do have to wonder what makes Raki’s meat more precious than the others?
It would be great if Raki will be eaten by Priscilla.
At least that useless boy won’t bother readers anymore with his boring appearance .
Probably he was invited to prolong story.
