These 2 episodes are dedicated to Yukine’s arc. We see that Yukine is associated with gangs through her brother. She is not in the gangs but are friends with people from gangs, they all respect Yukine because of her kindness. Yukine had nursed all the injured gang members after they fought and as the story had progressed, neither side of the gangs members wanted to back down from fighting.
A little kid appeared out of nowhere and asked for her sister back. Apparently, her sister had joined the gang which was lead by Yukine’s brother and out of all this, Youhei tricked the kid and said that he was Yukine’s brother. They went to the gang’s hideout so that the kid would meet up with his sister and Youhei was found out here. They looked like they were going to beat Youhei up for impersonating. The rival gang ambushed Youhei, Nagisa and Tomoya thinking Youhei was the gang leader but got beat up by Tomoyo. The gangs eventually wanted to fight with leader against leader but Yukine’s brother didn’t show up and Tomoya was the replacement. The rival gang leader and Tomoya fought for a day or a least a few hours before Yukine dressed as his brother came to stop the fight. She stopped the fight after being revealed and they all just stopped fighting.
It turns out that Yukine’s brother was dead already and his friends and family didn’t want the rival gang to know. The rival gang was also there with Yukine to give their respects to her brother and they just stopped fighting from then on as it was her brother’s wish. While Tomoya was paying his respect, he saw a light which was happiness and it could grant any wish.
The arc was pretty ok and I don’t know what some of the other people were thinking by making posts especially dedicated to defame Clannad. If you don’t like it, why bother watch or even spend more time on it anyway by blogging about that. To me, Clannad is good and it has a good storyline but, the hairs of the characters look kinda funny after a while.
Haha. Their hair kind of looks normal to me…
Hi all. There’s no big mystery as to what I was thinking. I’m not out to “defame Clannad,” which is a pretty impossible/ridiculous thing for an animu blogger to even imagine he could do, just want to speak my mind. Just want to keep the air clear:
To answer the first part — I stopped watching. I did feel like I didn’t have the time to spend on Clannad anymore because I just wasn’t enjoying it. I think it’s getting progressively worse. As for the second part, I don’t see how it’s a waste of time to say something just because it’s not positive, especially if it starts people conversing (which eventually it did). If we all liked the same stuff and we all talked about the things we liked, what a boring blogosphere we’d be.
I certainly welcome our differences, and I’m sure I speak for all the other haters I know when I say that it’s not about the fans, just the show.
Yea, I understand what you’re getting at here. I just don’t like it when people defame other’s work. You did what you had to Otou-san, I’m glad you’re not like those kind of people who would see this and starts flaming and bashing.
