From the preview, it almost seems like he fell for Sanae from the way he acts. It could be that he never held a girl’s hand or even dated a girl, which made him react this way.

All this time, I thought that girl in the illusionary world, which is supposed to be Ushio and the pile of junk who is Tomoya, were actually alone in that world. How are there sheep there if only Ushio and Tomoyo was supposed to be alone in that world. Maybe those sheep actually mean something there.
