I like the new intro, the Dango Dango intro was getting a bit irritating to me.

Ending:

It was only less than a year since Clannad had ended and Clannad After Story began. The story starts with Nagisa’s father, Akio playing baseball and later telling Tomoya to form a team to compete with another team from another town. Tomoya easily recruits his friend Sunohara to the team by complementing him. Kyou and Kotomi also joins the team at the Theater club room. Tomoya and Sunohara finds Tomoyo to recruit her for her athletic abilities. Tomoyo at first asks why they wanted to talk to her and Tomoya said that Sunohara wanted to do something with her and gets kicked to the wall.

The three then went to ask Misae, the resident manager of the dorm and Yusuke, the electrician to join the team. They all went home for the day and etc…

The game starts out good with Akio striking out the other players on the opposite team but, one of the batters screws up Akio’s leg by letting go of the bat accidentally. Nagisa becomes the pitcher and the game continues. The team was barely hanging in there but, the girls on the team were doing pretty well. Tomoyo had monstrous strength and bats the baseball out the field. Sunohara couldn’t hit a ball and Tomoya also didn’t do well because of his injured shoulder caused by his father a long time ago. Yusuke acts all cool and bats the ball but, forgot to run and made his cool speech and was tagged out. He was later sulking but tries again but this time, he runs to the base but does the same speech and when he was done, he realized that he walked all the way up to the pitcher and quickly went back to base. The last pitcher was Tomoya and it seemed like he really did hit the baseball regardless of his shoulder injury and the scene was last seen with everyone running and happy and etc…

Next Episode:

I think this episode turned out pretty well and I liked the episode. It was funny as hell when Yusuke was done pitching and did his speech and forgot to run to the first base and was tagged out. The other funny part was how Aiko reacted when he was hit with the bat on the leg. I am looking forward to this second season but, I don’t know why Aizen won’t watch it even though he didn’t like Kanon. It shouldn’t really have affected his decisions to watch other anime by Key. The intro in my opinion was better than last season’s and the songs were at least not the Dango Dango songs.
