Announcement: Recruiting Bloggers

Seriously, I never thought I would have to actually make a post dedicated to this, but school is harsh for me and so is time. So far the bloggers I’ve recruited are mainly real life friends and well, they also have a lot of trouble with school and such. My time is currently growing smaller and smaller so I can’t do everything I planned to do […]

Berserk’s ending… is really messed up.

Just so everyone can note, I never officially watched Berserk.

Ok, so I went on YouTube and watched something called “Berserk the Abridged Series”. It was pretty funny - including the ending. Thing was, the ending wasn’t the real ending and just a big mock up of the real Berserk ending. It was, what you’d call, a happy ending for everyone. But that was a bit strange as the creator of it said he CRIED at the ending - that it’s a controversial episode to really ‘abridge’ about. So pretty much, I went on and YouTube’d it and was amazed to see that there was one (or more) that weren’t flagged.

The ending was pretty messed up. In fact, I think my reaction with the creator of Berserk Abridged Series would’ve been the same if I saw the whole Anime. Don’t open the spoiler if you don’t wanna find out what happens.

I was just amazed that Griffith would actually turn into a demon or something and then start banging a girl (Caska)… that was what I found funny. What I found saddening was Guts had to watch the girl that he probably loved (Caska) get banged and feel pleasure from a demon… while having his body slowly destroyed. I can’t even remember any other Anime which did something THIS extreme where the evil characters won and the ‘good’ ones were screwed over.

Well, I guess they were expecting to continue the series. The scene you mention is pretty much halfway in the manga (which is still ongoing), it is basically the turning point that explains why Guts hates Griffth so much and how he keeps going despite all the pain. Have u read the manga ? The anime is basically just the flashback part of it.
