Bamboo Blade – 06, I needa stop procrastinating.
Blatant Lie
Kojirou continues to discuss with Tama about how-to-be-the-first-and-last-fighter. Nakata thinks to himself that his plan won’t work… The plan was for Tama to use Half Power, but Tama NEVER used even half of her strength in the club (according to Nakata). Tama easily won the battle. Ishibashi was thinking about why his member lost. Next up was Miyako. She wasn’t seriously fighting, so Eiga “went to the bathroom”. She started to attack like a maniac, but once Asakawa (The opponent) received a call that her boyfriend apologized to her, she regained her strength and won. Asakawa left afterwards.
Tama changed clothes and cutely snuck out and she remembered that she should return immediately, but instead wanted to eat her rice balls. Saya had to fight the squeamish + shy Nishiyama… but Nishiyama was too “slick” towards Saya’s attacks. Later, Nishiyama saw an opening on Saya and smacked her with her shinai (Bamboo Blade) (i.e. she won). For a second battle, Saya noticed Tama’s name and remembered what she said about Kendo basic stuff. – Footwork in this case. Sadly, Nishiyama’s feet were outside the boundary so they only got one point. Kojirou thought that Tama is actually the teacher. What irony (or is it?).
After Tama finished eating, she wore the Vice Principal’s glasses to disguise herself. It didn’t work. The battle between Nishiyama and Saya was a draw. Saya and Nisiyama were extremely tired. When Tama opened the door, Nakata was about to call Tama Tama, but Kojirou called her “Braver”. No one really complained. Next fight was Kirino and Ando. Ando was doing her underhanded tricks by tripping her and stuff. Kojirou was thinking that Kirino should use Tama’s teaching to win (and Nakata was like “Don’t you mean YOUR teacher!?”). Luckily, Kirino remembered Tama’s teachings about movements and strikes and won the first match.
Tama was thinking that fighting twice is unfair, but remembered that Kojirou bribed her with a super-rare Anime thing from his collection. For that she fights on. Kirino’s final match was a win for her. Kojirou started to think about telling Tama to use HIS teaching for winning and Nakata said he didn’t teach her squat. Tama got ready to fight. Her opponent is Yoko. Her first offense was to scream like a maniac, but Tama responded with an even crazier scream and smacked Yoko with her Shinai (she won). Because Yoko was trying to comprehend what has happened at first, Tama was able to smack Yoko again without Yoko trying to protect herself. She won.
In the end, Kojirou won and was about to give Ishibashi a handshake. Instead, Ishibashi said he wanted to fight Tama. He asked for her name and she was about to say Braver. He interrupted by asking her again and she told him her real name. He asked her again and she told him. Finally, he asked her for a match.
Well, I haven’t posted for nearly two weeks (I think). But not to worry! Anywho:
There was mostly fighting in this episode – wasn’t really a fan of fighting where the faces are hidden. I found it a bit funny that Kojirou keeps on saying that Tama’s “Braver”. Make’s him sound silly. I would’ve liked some Tama-fondling though – Tama’s just kawaii. Ando was also being very snide by tripping and not fighting serious with Kirino. Oh and, it seems that Eiga knows that Miya is a mean girl and tries to comfort her in it. With that said, I’m amazed at Eiga for not telling Miya that he knows her true personality – it’d make life easier for both of ‘em. Or maybe he did tell her and accepted her for that – maybe that’s why Miya likes him. For whatever reason it is, a hawt girl likes a weird boy. +win.

I thought you died lol, nice to have you back and well.
